If you are looking for a great book to read or need help with your research, you have come to the right place. This web site was created to provide the best free online resources for the elementary learning community.

The Virtual School Library will strive to serve the literary and information literacy needs of its visitors, particularly those without access to a professionally staffed school library.

Information literacy is defined by the National Forum on Information Literacy as as the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand.
